Sleepy Baby

We had another ultrasound on Monday. Baby Palos was doing great! It was fast asleep and the ultrasound tech had to wake it up in order to get an accurate measurement. The baby is still measuring a wee bit smaller than what it should be, but that is no reason for concern. We saw the baby scratch it's head (kind of like it was saying "Whats going on here? Why are you waking me up!?!?!" haha!) It was so cute! We watched as he/she yawned, rolled over, and tried to go back to sleep. So so so cute!

Our Little Mexican Jumping Bean

On Thursday, May 14th, Domingo and I got to see Baby Palos again. We went in for our Nuchal Translucency Screening that tests for Down's Syndrome. I'm not worried about the results, I just looked at it as an extra chance to see how our baby was doing. Well, it measured 3mm too small to do the test! So we actually get to go back on Memorial Day and have it done again! I couldn't be more excited about another chance to see the baby. The sonographer said my due date looked more like December 2nd instead of November 29th. All along I said it was going to be a December baby. The baby's heart rate was 182 beats per minute. The doctor said everything looked great. It was jumping all around and looked like a little Mexican Jumping Bean! I can't believe how much the baby's growin in the last 4 weeks. Domingo and I couldn't be more thrilled!

My Mother's Day Card and Flowers from Domingo....the card was so sweet! :)

Cleatus and Clyde

Domingo and I are excited to announce that our little one on the way will have a cousin that will only be about 2 1/2 weeks younger than him/her. Daniel and Erika are expecting their second child on December 16th. What a wild Christmas it will be! :)

We've decided on names!

We have literally been arguing about baby names since before we were ever married! I didn't want to go 9 months without knowing what our baby's name would be so we finally agreed to agree! He hated the name Savannah, which was my first choice for a girl's name and I really disliked Keagan, which was his first choice for a boy's name. So, Domingo picked the girl's name and I picked the boy's name. Drum roll please......

If our little one is a girl, her name will be Sophia Grace Palos!

If our little one is aboy, his name will be Noah _______ Palos (middle name to be determined soon)!

I have an ultrasound next Thursday. While it's still early, the external male/female parts are already visible....I sure hope we have a great U/S technician!!!! Will it be Sophia or Noah???? Tell me what you think!
